Hopefully by now all of you have had a chance to listen to the new Metallica record, Death Magnetic, that has sold a WHOPPING 490,000 copies as of today!! (Nielsen SoundScan) Which BTW has outsold the 418,000 copies of Metallica’s last studio album. St. Anger, in 2003. This new record has achieved the biggest first week sales for a Metallica album since 1996’s, Load, which sold 680,000 copies in week one. Load had been the first release in 5 years since the black album (and I don’t know about you, but by then I was jonesin’ for some fresh metal!)

Well, while you are learning the lyrics to the new record, let’s take a step back to 1986 when the fellas released the masterpiece that was coined Master of Puppets. I’ve added the tablature below so you can pick along!
